Wonderful cinema! Beautifully clean with comfortable seats. Nice selection of snacks and drinks. Visited here twice and have loved it both times. Will definitely revisit!

We had a super experience here on Saturday evening. We were a party of 8 and they sat us on a nice large round table. The service, food and drinks were all spot-on, everything was excellent. Thank you!

Cinema was nice but during the movie 8-10ish the music in the restaurant was far too loud distracting you from the film and the staff I tried telling didn't speak English or get someone who could. Overall disappointing has potential to be good

We are regulars to the Ambleside area and hadn't ever noticed that Zeffirellis had a jazz club inside. We gave Zeffirellis a chance on our last visit and came for a 2-course meal too.
The food was fantastic overall, and the team who served us were genuinely brilliant. Everything was reasonable on cost too.
Great experience which we can't fault at all!

Called in for a coffee, hot chocolate and cake. We were seated straight away , staff were professional and friendly. Good value in the centre of Ambleside. Lovely cafe.

Watched Bridget Jones this evening and it was so lovely to see such a full cinema with a great atmosphere. Will definitely return for food.

What a fabulous night we had...tempted by the meal and cinema deal 😊 and we weren't disappointed. Lovely food... relaxing, comfortable, welcoming restaurant. Staff were attentive. Thank you, and we will see you again 👍🏻

We booked a romantic meal/ cinema deal for our anniversary. Having had good food here a year ago. Lovely welcome and waitress who was attentive. I ordered bruschetta to start thinking it would be a light fresh starter. Thick greasy doughy bread covered in melted cheese . Not great . My husband ordered mushrooms on toast which was tasty but was on doughy bread not toast. He ordered pizza which was thick dough and quite frankly could have bought better from a supermarket. I ordered the worst meal spaghetti with a tomato sauce . Bland / boring / cheap , and I would have been embarrassed to serve it in my home . I notice that the owners do not respond to reviews which concerns me that their food standards are slipping , feeling that they are sure of a full house ie visitors ! Such a shame .

We went for the cinema and evening meal deal. Amazing vegetarian food every time and lots of choice too! Warm and welcoming atmosphere and lovely staff.

We were the only ones in the small (small compared to say an Odeon). Seats comfortable & clean. Understandably skeleton staff.... we'd eaten and drank elsewhere prior. Watched "Quiet 3" here in July 2024, which was super spooky given we were the only ones there! Thanks for a great time!

Excellent friendly efficient service, beautiful food. 6 of us each had something different and everything without exception was delicious. None of us was vegetarian but we thoroughly enjoyed the very tasty food and gorgeous desserts. Would definitely recommend

We had heard good things about this restaurant, only to arrive and be served potentially the worst pizza that I have ever had. For an Italian restaurant to serve pizza that has a thick doughy base, and is so greasy is innate, and was quite frankly shocked. We would have brought this up with the waiters/ staff, however I can’t remember us being checked on once - only when we finally flagged someone down to ask for more drinks.
The only thing that stops this being one stars, is the initial service when being seated, which was really really good - and helpful, however it didn’t continue till the end, as we asked for directions to one of the movie screens (we had the deal), and was met with “I am not a box office”, which I don’t think was needed.
Other members of the group enjoyed their food, and this may have been a one off experience, but I would personally not go back.

What a fabulous place to visit, to be Vegetarian or Vegan and not gave to worry what the menu is going to have on for us is amazing. The choice and quality if the food on offer was fantastic 👌
